What is the current US duty on apparel from India?

The MFN rate on cotton apparel is approximately 16.5%. Additional rates applied to Indian goods have changed repeatedly through 2026, so we do not quote a single all-in figure. Confirm your HS line with your customs broker before costing; we supply origin documentation for whichever rate applies.

Why source from India rather than a lower-cost origin?

Embroidery capability at volume, and supply concentration cover. For a plain woven basic bought purely on unit price, another origin may be the better fit.

What does C-TPAT certification mean for us as the importer?

Our container loading, premises and personnel security procedures are documented and audited to CBP's programme. C-TPAT shipments see lower inspection rates and more predictable clearance.

Can you handle e-commerce drops rather than full programmes?

Yes, and they scale. A first order can be 50 pieces per style; repeat programmes run at volume on 45-day cycles. Samples in 7–10 days, repeats in 45.
